When STAAR will not work properly, often times either the device needs to be updated or all profiles need to be removed. See below for links to procedures of how to do both:
Update a Chromebook:
To update a chrome device's operating system, a user must log in to follow the procedure linked here.
**Remember, you have to log off after updating the chrome device before you can access the apps menu to launch the SecureTestBrowser app for STAAR. (Apps menu is bottom left on login screen of chrome device.)**
Remove profiles from a chrome device:
