Governor's Educator Excellence Award Program

CREDIT BY EXAMS ... MISD will provide the opportunity for students to advance through Examinations For Acceleration (Credit By Exam) in order to test out of a grade level (grades K-5) or course (grades 6-12). Please contact your child's/children's campus for testing dates, times, and further information.

4th grade Gifted and Talented students from Southside and Central Elementaries took part in a Holiday Hunt videoconference with 3 other schools from all over Texas. The videoconference was designed to showcase holiday traditions from around the world. Mabank students shared a recipe for Norwegian Christmas cookies called Sandkager, sharing the process step by step.
