1st Annual College & Career EXPO 2012

JOIN MHS for our 1st Annual College & Career EXPO that will be held on Monday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Common’s Area. This is an excellent opportunity to explore a variety of careers ALL in one spot. Come out and meet professionals who want to help you. Hear about the education and training requirements that you will need for your future career. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. This career fair will include professionals from your own community! You never know where this opportunity could lead...future local scholarships, internships or even a job!

FREE COOKIES! CONCESSION STAND WITH $1 HOTDOGS & DRINKS!

Seniors- Are you still undecided on your college or career choice? Show up Monday night for the College & Career EXPO. We will have a table set up for juniors and seniors to sign up for a Saturday College Visit to University of North Texas. All expenses paid- transportation, lunch & snacks will all be provided at no charge! We will take the first 50 students that sign-up on Monday night at the Career EXPO. Look for the table with balloons!!!

Juniors- A “Senior Handbook” has been compiled specifically for you. This guide includes information about the college application process, summer deadlines, financial aid, timelines, checklists, testing and helpful tips & reminders. These senior handbooks will be available to you at the Career Expo on Monday night. You may pick this informative guide up in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. followed by the EXPO at 6:30. This guide will only be available on Monday night. You must be present to receive it!

FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES- we will also have helpful timelines & links available for you at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium on Monday night.
