CAREER PATHWAYS:
Planning Ahead for Your Future
Six year plans, or career pathways, have been developed for a variety of careers within the sixteen career clusters. These plans contain recommended electives in a coherent sequence which will provide the student with skills needed to pursue his/her desired career. Many of these pathways lead to certifications recognized by industry, and some allow students to take licensing exams upon successful completion of the course of study outlined in the Six Year Plan. Other course sequences are articulated with local community colleges and students will receive college credit if all criteria are met.
